Over the past few years, social media has become a gimmick. Everyone is doing it now (and doing it rather poorly, I might add), so bragging about your shop's new Facebook page is not advantageous, it's gimmicky.

Know what's never a gimmick? Quality. Sincere, unadulterated, unprovoked, well-oiled quality will never go out of style.
