Would you like vs I will

Would you like me to take photos at the event? vs. I will take photos at the event.

One implies passivity. The other, action.

One implies reaction. The other, proactivity.

One implies directive. The other, initiative.

One requires an answer. The other only requires a response if that’s not what is needed.

Nothing is wrong with either, but, you need to make a decision between which style you are. It’s very interesting how a few words can change what a person says. Language is the most powerful tool we have, I’m convince we should use it purposefully and wisely.

So, yes, say what you mean. But, more importantly, know what you’re saying.
